12.11. Removal and installation of a back beam

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken bolts of fastening of back wheels, then lift a back part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Remove back wheels.
3. On models with system of a being self-leveled back suspension bracket remove pressure in system.
4. Disconnect a cable of the hand brake from the jack and release it from fastenings on the car bottom.
5. Remove a back part of an exhaust system from rubber pillows.
6. Disconnect a back brake hose from an arm of a back beam and close hoses jams.
7. On the Versatile person models and the Van unscrew the bolts, springs of the valve of adjustment of pressure fixing an arm.
8. Remove springs of a back suspension bracket.
9. A jack through wooden whetstone support the central part of a back beam.
10. Disconnect forward fastening (the arrangement of a nut and a bolt is specified by shooters) longitudinal levers of a back suspension bracket from the bottom of the car and lower a jack together with a back beam.
11. Move a cable of the hand brake on an exhaust system and remove a back beam.
12. At installation of a new back beam rearrange on it elements of brake system, a nave, the stabilizer of cross-section stability and other hinged details.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. With the assistant establish a back beam on the car, thus move a cable of the hand brake on an exhaust system.
2. Insert bolts of fastening of a back beam, but do not tighten them finally at this stage.
3. Establish springs and fix shock-absorbers.
4. Connect back brake hoses and pump over hydraulic system of brakes.
5. On the Versatile person models and the Van, moving an arm, adjust a tension of the spring operating the valve of adjustment of pressure.
6. Fix an exhaust system on rubber pillows.
7. Fix a cable of the hand brake on the bottom of the car and connect it to the jack.
8. Adjust bearings of back wheels.
9. Adjust back brakes for what press not less than 10 times a brake pedal, then adjust the hand brake.
10. Establish wheels, then lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of wheels.
11. Load the car, having planted on forward sitting of two people, then tighten bolts of fastening of a back beam the demanded moment.
12. On models with a being self-leveled back suspension bracket increase in system pressure to 0,8 bar.
