4. Engine

4.1. The OHV engine (with a camshaft in the block of cylinders)


The engine with four cylinders, established cross-section in a forward part of the car. Coupling and a transmission are located on the left side of the engine.

The cranked shaft leans on three radical bearings. Persistent half rings of a cranked shaft are established on the central radical bearing.

In the bottom heads of a rod shatunny loose leaves are established. Pistons fasten to rods piston fingers which are motionlessly fixed in an opening of the top head of a rod. Pistons from an aluminum alloy also have three piston rings – two sealing and one maslosjemny.

The camshaft put in action by a chain from a cranked shaft, operates yokes through cams and short pushers. All inlet and final valves are closed by one spring and work in directing, pressed in a head of the block of cylinders. Valves are put in action by directly yokes.

Greasing of the engine is made under the pressure created by the oil pump. Oil is sucked in via the mesh filter located in a maslopriyemnik, and then arrives via the filter to canals of the block of cylinders, from there oil arrives to a cranked shaft and a camshaft. Bearings of the bottom head of a rod are supplied with oil through internal drillings in a cranked shaft. To camshaft bearings oil also moves under pressure. Cams of a camshaft and the valve are oiled sprayed, as well as all other mobile details of the engine.
