6.1.6. Removal and fuel level sensor installation

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator and a cover of a toplivozalivny mouth.
2. Through a toplivozalivny mouth pump out fuel from a fuel tank.
3. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports.
4. Disconnect the electric socket from the fuel level sensor.
5. Using a marker or paint, put combination labels on the sensor and a fuel tank in order that it was possible to establish the sensor in initial situation. Insert a steel core into grooves of a cover of the sensor and turn a cover counter-clockwise. If the cover of the sensor is fixed by bolts, unscrew them.
6. Being careful, take the fuel level sensor from a fuel tank, thus do not bend the float lever.
7. Remove a sealing ring.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal, but thus it is necessary to use a new sealing ring.
